Some interfaces are really small, like the tiny event editor in the troop screen.Īs a side-note, the higher resolution is a bit of a mistake.Larger assets are much harder to handle than lower resolution assets for beginners. I was also a bit disappointed to see the new program interface did not become more flexible than it was before, I would really appreciate if script and event editor pop-ups or the database window where resizeable. It’s too bad I wont be able to use a trial again to check it out then.

I will keep on using VX Ace for now, and check back again if the program gets updates addressing those issues. The new features are neat, and the two different battle systems are an impressive addition, but don’t happen to be features I have much of a use for myself. I also don’t like how it leaves the game assets out in the open when building for windows. It seems like every action in the program had a strange half-second bit of lag to it, was quite frustrating to work with. The program interface and game builds felt very slow and clunky. I tried it a couple hours at the start of the trial and was frankly pretty disappointed. I suppose this is kind of like a product review for RPG Maker MV: A small post-scriptum message said that if I wont be buying it, I should send them a reply and tell them why.

HOW GOOD IS RPG MAKER MV TRIAL FULL VERSION
I was pretty disappointed by the program when I tried it, and I’m not really interested in buying it for now.Īt the end of the trial, I received an automated email from RPG Maker support telling me that the trial ended, with a link to the page to purchase the full version with a small discount.
